we had our last exam today. i looked up a few times. i'm usually smart enough to never do that, not once, not ever. it feels dirty to lay my eyes on you. but i did today, maybe out of exhaustion, maybe because i thought i deserved it after all the hell i've been put through. the back of your head looks just the way i remember it. looking at you feels just the way i remember it.

it's enough for me. it's enough to get nothing from you but the back of your head every few months.
